Recently, it was announced that BYU Continuing Education (CE) began a new multi-year partnership with BYU Athletics that would make BYU CE the official jersey patch sponsor for BYU Olympic sports programs. The partnership is an exciting opportunity for CE to further support BYU students.

In a statement regarding the partnership, CE Dean Richard Houseman said, "Students are our primary focus, and this sponsorship allows us to support student-athletes, who compete at the highest levels both academically and in their respective sports." CE is looking forward to supporting student-athletes in both their academic and competitive success.

Beginning with the upcoming 2026–27 athletic season, the CE logo will appear on all baseball, cross country, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball uniforms, with additional Olympic sports joining in the following years. While the jersey patches will be the visible symbol of the partnership, they also represent something greater. The partnership stems from a shared commitment to help students achieve their goals and reflects the important role CE has in advancing BYU’s broader mission.

Additionally, the partnership will provide CE with greater visibility. During the 2025-2026 season, BYU Athletics received more than 37 million viewers across its various athletic programs. Through national broadcasts on ESPN, FOX, TNT, and ABC, CE will reach millions of people, helping them become more familiar with the opportunities CE offers to learners around the world.

Currently, BYU CE serves hundreds of thousands of learners through online courses, conferences, youth programs, professional development, and lifelong learning opportunities, and this partnership will allow for even greater awareness. It is an opportunity for CE’s mission of “Inspiring Lifelong Learning to Benefit the World” to be shared with a new audience who can discover the many ways CE can enrich their lives, strengthen their careers, and support their educational goals.

The partnership was made possible by the countless dedicated CE employees who have shaped the organization into what it is today. It will also provide an opportunity to become more integrated with the BYU main campus and the Church Educational System by highlighting the shared commitment to student success.
