It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2015 BYU Women’s Conference, co-sponsored by the Relief Society. We hope you will enjoy all the many aspects of Women’s Conference.
The theme of the conference this year is found in 2 Nephi 11:5. Nephi testifies of Christ, including the witness that he and his brother Jacob have seen the Redeemer and then rejoices "in the covenants of the Lord" and in his grace, justice, power and mercy. Our loving Father and his Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ have offered us the blessing of making covenants, covenants that connect us to heaven and to the saving and enabling grace of the atonement. Making and keeping covenants brings to our lives strength, peace, and trust. We hope that through the sessions of this year’s conference you will take the opportunity to reflect upon the covenants you have made or those you are preparing to receive and see the ways they become anchors of faith, beacons of hope, and blankets of charity that will keep you and your loved ones close to the Savior and our loving Heavenly Father. We also pray that you will feel drawn to the opportunities we all have to renew and consider our covenants regularly and experience "more sense of his care" (Hymn 131).
In addition to our plenary and concurrent sessions, we invite you to also participate in Lives to Brighten, our evening of service—a time to enjoy friendship, conversation, learning, and serving. Our friends at Deseret Book have prepared another Thursday evening concert for your inspiration, entertainment, and relaxation we’re sure you will appreciate.
Please know how grateful we are to have you with us this year.
