This is a survey course of United States history covering the Constitutional Convention to the Civil War and Reconstruction. This is the second course in a four-part United States History series for grades seven and eight (SOCST 035, SOCST 036, SOCST 037, and SOCST 038); however, any of these courses may be taken independently of the others.
