This course will compare historical and cultural events in Europe with the same types of events in the Americas during the same time period; highlights include in-depth discussions on the Constitution of the United States of America, the Revolutionary War, the French Revolution, and an examination of the Thirteen Colonies. This is the second course in a two-part World History series for grades seven and eight (SOCST 033 and SOCST 034); however, either course may be taken independently of the other.
