This physics course is a mathematical treatment of change of state, thermodynamics, wave and sound, light and color, lenses, electric charges and fields, current and circuits, satellites, magnetism, nuclear reaction, and so forth. It includes instructions for lab activities that can be completed with commonly available equipment. This is the second course in a two-part Physics series (PHSCS 041 and PHSCS 043).

Students will need a scientific calculator capable of computing trigonometric functions. This course includes a lab component. A list of required materials can be found on the syllabus.
