This course provides an introduction to computer application software. Students will learn to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office 2013. The basics of operating systems and the use of email are also covered.

Note
A computer with Microsoft Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, and Access® (Microsoft Office Suite) is needed for this course. Equivalent software found in Google Docs or on Macintosh computers may also be used, but be aware that versions of software will be different and may or may not have the tools to complete parts of the assignments. This course uses Microsoft Office 2013 for Windows. Make sure you save all documents in a Microsoft Word® (.doc, .docx), Excel® (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint® (.ppt, .pptx) or Access® (.accdb) format.
