EFY Lives!

EFY Youth

When the Church announced that BYU’s Especially for Youth (EFY) program would morph into a Church-sponsored For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conference in North America, many people assumed that EFY was no more.

Not so fast! Not only is EFY alive, there are several EFY camp types that are as vibrant as ever!

With health protocols in place and conditions improving, EFY is planning to have safe, in-person camps this summer.

Each EFY session includes all of the activities youth love about EFY, such as devotionals, gospel study, company cheers, dances, games, musical program, and a “can’t miss it” variety show. All sessions welcome youth from all over the country and include focused opportunities for teens to develop skills and knowledge. Simply put, youth in all EFY sessions now get the benefits of two valuable camps wrapped in one: a full EFY experience and a secondary focus of their choice!

EFY Habits for Life

Develop your goals, habits, and leadership skills in EFY Habits for Life sessions. Because this EFY camp includes principles taught in 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, you’ll come out as a better student and friend as you think strategically, learn collaboratively, and connect with other like-minded teenagers. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve yourself and habits—sign up today!

EFY ACT Prep

For teenagers who seek guided practice and strategic training to score high on the ACT exam, EFY ACT Prep can help. Dedicated study time with experienced instructors helps break down test anxiety. ACT prep guides and other resources are included, as well as guidance on how to excel at the ACT. Sign up today to get the right help you need to conquer the ACT to get into your dream college and experience all of the fun of EFY at the same time!

EFY Special Edition

If you are interested in walking where favorite Church history figures walked, an EFY Special Edition session is for you! These EFY camps involve traveling to locations where Restoration events took place. Experience sacred places and create meaningful relationships with your fellow travelers.

In 2021 only a Salt Lake City session is open (July 5–10), but check back for future camps in Nauvoo, Illinois; Kirtland, Ohio; Palmyra, New York; Independence, Missouri; and San Diego, California.

EFY Mission Ready

Get a leg up on preparing for a mission by attending a session of EFY Mission Ready. Take advantage of this chance to study beside fellow future elders and sisters as you hear from returned missionaries, former mission presidents, and MTC teachers and simultaneously enjoy a full week of EFY. More information is to come, so stay tuned (and stay “in tune”) to attend this camp and prepare for an amazing mission!

EFY Adventure for Youth

For those who love the outdoors (though let’s be honest, who doesn’t?), consider attending EFY Adventure for Youth. This year, we have two popular locations in Utah—one at Maple Dell in Payson Canyon with moderate outdoor activities and one in Moab for those who love the thrill of higher-intensity outdoor experiences.

Take advantage of this chance to strengthen bonds with heaven and friends in some of Utah’s most beautiful, iconic landscapes.
