Programs and Courses for Youth and Adult Learners

The Bachelor of General Studies Program offers a fully accredited bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and is designed to help you finish at home what you started at BYU.

The BYU Salt Lake Center extends the Provo campus into the Salt Lake Valley and surrounding areas in offering nearly 200 undergraduate university courses each semester. Most courses are held in the evening, making enrollment convenient for full- and part-time students

Campus Education Week offers more than 1,000 classes on education, religion, marriage, family relations, health, history, genealogy, science, youth interests, and many other areas. The program is designed primarily for adults, although anyone age 14 and over may attend.

EFY is a youth program whose objectives are to encourage, assist, and guide youth participants (ages 14–18) as they strive to “come unto Christ.” EFY creates a setting where youth have the opportunity to develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, and socially.

BYU Dance Camps offer dance instruction in ballet, ballroom, clogging, ethnic, folk, jazz, modern and tap. Whatever the level, whatever the age, if you want to dance we have a program for you!

BYU Independent Study is a nonprofit online educational program that offers more than 550 online courses—university, high school, middle school, and free noncredit courses–to students throughout the United States and in over 90 foreign countries. Enrollment is open to anyone, anytime of the year, with a full year to complete most courses.

BYU Women’s Conference is a two-day conference co-sponsored by the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Brigham Young University, and is open to women and men, ages 16 and older.
