2009 Fall BYU/UVU Merit Badge PowWow

The 2009 Fall PowWow will be on October 31 and November 14.

MERIT BADGE CARDS WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE POWWOW BY REQUEST OF THE UTAH NATIONAL PARKS COUNCIL. Scouts will be responsible to provide their own card, and have it signed by their Scoutmaster before PowWow begins. Scouts will also be responsible to bring their own work sheets for classes. These work sheets are available by selecting the Merit Badges link to the left and then selecting the individual class.

The PowWow registration deadline was October 9th. A confirmation e-mail informing Scouts of their class locations will be sent by October 20. Those who did not provide an e-mail address will receive a copy by regular mail. Please bring your schedule with you on October 31st, the first day of PowWow classes. You will receive your BYU/UVU PowWow patch in your first class. There will be no late or walk-on registration for the program.

Update: There will be no Opening Ceremony at either BYU or UVU for the 2009 Fall PowWow. This is a change from previous PowWow programs. Scouts will need to arrive before 9:00 a.m. on the first and second Saturdays in order to attend the first merit badge class each day. Please make prior arrangements with the Scouts for where they will be delivered and picked up on each day of the PowWow.
