For over thirty years, DJs have been hired to run EFY dances, and they have done an exceptional job entertaining tens of thousands of EFY youth. We appreciate and thank all of them for their efforts and concern in helping EFY to provide clean and wholesome dances.

This year however, we are going to run things a little differently. For the first time ever, EFY will be conducting handling all of our DJ needs ourselves. Over the past few years, we have compiled our own music playlists, and essentially have been hiring DJs just to use their equipment. However, with over two hundred dances held each summer at EFY, renting equipment and hiring DJs has become quite expensive. Therefore, in an effort to reduce costs while continuing to provide the best possible EFY experience for everyone, we have decided that we will not be hiring any DJs or renting equipment for the foreseeable future.

As far as EFY dances are concerned, they will remain unchanged. The only difference is that EFY will be supplying its own DJ equipment from now on.
