"Music is an important and powerful part of life. It can be an influence for good that helps you draw closer to Heavenly Father. However, it can also be used for wicked purposes. Unworthy music may seem harmless, but it can have evil effects on your mind and spirit.

Choose carefully the music you listen to. Pay attention to how you feel when you are listening. Don't listen to music that drives away the Spirit, encourages immorality, glorifies violence, uses foul or offensive language, or promotes Satanism or other evil practices."

"The Job"

Each EFY session has two dances: one on Tuesday night and another on Friday night. Each dance begins with dance instruction at 7:00 p.m. and the dance follows at 7:30. Each DJ must be set up and ready to perform at 7:00. Dances usually conclude about 10:00 p.m.

Application

This year we will require all DJs to apply on our Web site. That application is currently available at the above link. Each application will be electronically sent to us, where we will consider all who are applying for the same sessions. If there are multiple qualified DJs for a specific area or session, a proposal system will introduced. All DJs will be notified if there are multiple applicants and will be allowed to submit a proposal.

We will try to make final decisions by April 30.

Contract

An online contract will be available and password protected online. We will give the password to all who are accepted and allow them to print a copy of the contract, fill out all necessary information, and fax it back as soon as possible. If the contract is not faxed back within two weeks of acceptance, we will consider that you decline the offer, and we will choose another DJ. The contract is similar to last years' and will be enforced.

Cancellation

EFY reserves the right to cancel the performance at any time prior to the scheduled event. If a cancellation notice is given to the DJ in writing at least seven (7) calendar days before the performance, the contract will be null and void. If a cancellation notice is given to the DJ in fewer than seven (7) calendar days before the performance, EFY agrees to pay the DJ one-half of the full contract price specified in paragraph one of the contract.

If a contracted DJ cancels a performance within seven (7) calendar days of a performance, that DJ will no longer be hired for EFY sessions.
