EFY Building Counselor

EFY Building Counselors will be paid $475 for a weeklong contract.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Guide and assist counselors in all aspects of their duties
• Help counselors develop and improve teaching techniques
• Provide guidance in associating with EFY program participants
• Relay information between coordinators and counselors
• Support counselors in maintaining their personal well-being

Requirements

• Be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in good standing
• Have previous EFY counselor experience
• Have prior leadership experience
• Be hard workers
• Be capable of working both as team members and individually with minimal supervision
• Relate well with youth
• Be able to teach youth in a group setting
• Work well under pressure
• Must abide by the Especially For Youth counselor dress and appearance standards
• Must be no more than 28 years old by September 1, 2010

Strongly Preferred

• Returned missionary
