Begins: 9:00 a.m. on January 15, 2008
Ends: 5:00 p.m. on January 22, 2008
Purpose: To ensure the fairest way to place youth into EFY sessions they desire to attend while managing the high volume of youth who want to register.
After the application period ends, but before the check status period, applications will be selected randomly and placed into sessions until they are full. If someone is not assigned a session because all of their desired sessions became full during the random selection, they will have the Check Status Period to try to register for an available session.
Begins: 9:00 a.m. on January 29, 2008
Ends: 8:59 a.m. on February 5, 2008
Purpose: For those who applied during the application period to learn of their acceptance or denial into a program and to have a second chance to change your registration or try to register in a program before open enrollment.
Applicants should have received an e-mail letting them know what session they are registered for, or an e-mail letting them know they did not get into any of their desired sessions. If you dont receive an e–mail, you are responsible to check your status online. You may check you status online by clicking “View/Edit my Registrations” on the registration page.
During this check status time, those who applied during the application period will be able to make any desired changes to their registration. If you completed your application during the original application period, but were not assigned to any of your choices, we provide you this second chance opportunity to register online for any of the remaining sessions before open registration begins. A full refund may be granted if you desire to withdraw your application or registration.
Begins: 9:00 a.m. on February 05, 2008
Ends: see Open Registration Deadlines (see below)
Any youth, age 14–18, may register for an EFY program that has space available and is currently active. This is a first come, first serve registration period. Anyone registered in an active EFY program may transfer from that session into another session that is currently active. EFY sessions close, or become inactive, on Monday at 8:59 a.m. MST one week before that EFY session is scheduled to start. Anyone registered in an active EFY program may withdraw from that session and receive a refund, minus a $25.00 processing fee.
EFY sessions close, or become inactive, on Monday at 9:00 a.m. MST one week before that EFY session is scheduled to start. You may not register for a session, withdraw from a session, or transfer in or out of a session once the session has closed or become inactive.
Example: If a session starts on Monday, July 14, then the session closes, or becomes inactive on Monday, July 7 at 9:00 a.m.
