Textbooks

The BYU Salt Lake Center does not maintain an on–campus bookstore. Textbooks for your BYU Salt Lake Center classes may be ordered online through the BYU Bookstore on the Provo campus (www.byubookstore.com). Textbooks will be available for order approximately one month prior to the start of each semester or term. Please order your books at the earliest date possible so that you will receive them on time for your classes.

Find books for your class(es):

1. Log on to your Route Y account.
2. Click the School tab.
3. Choose My Book List.
4. Check the “I Agree” box.

Ordering options:

1. Print book list and take to Provo bookstore.
2. Buy online through Route Y or bookstore link.
3. Order from an outside source. (
   If you choose to buy your textbooks from outside sources, it is your responsibility to ensure you buy the correct edition
   )

Payment for your textbooks may be made by credit card or by charging the purchase to your student account. This may be done online at the time you place your book order. Be sure to print out a copy of your book order for your records.

Shipping options if ordering from BYU Bookstore:

You can also designate, at the time you place your order, how you want to obtain delivery of your textbooks. You may choose one of three methods:

1. Pick up your online order at the Provo bookstore.
2. Request online order to be sent to your address (shipping charge).
3. Request order to be sent to Salt Lake Center (no shipping charge). *

* Orders can only be picked up at the Salt Lake Center through the first three weeks of the semester.

If you prefer, you may also purchase your textbooks directly from the BYU Bookstore on the Provo campus by printing a booklist, and pulling your titles from the textbook shelves, and paying through the regular cashiering stations on the third floor of the Bookstore.

Bookstore Refunds

Full or partial refunds on textbooks are given per bookstore policy. There are no refunds given on opened packets. Receipts are required for full refunds. NO refund will be given on a textbook being returned where it has been or will be replaced by a textbook from ANY other source. Book Sellback

The bookstore will conduct book sellback at the end of each semester/term. Actual dates and times will be printed on your Refund Policy attached to your sales receipt.
