Copyright Confidence The BYU Salt Lake Center Library will host a workshop on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 9:00-11:00am in Room 318. Suzie Quartey, BYU Copyright Licensing Office Associate Director, will present on the following topics: Educational Fair Use, Media Conversion, Obtaining Permission and specific copyright scenarios. Light continental breakfast will be served. RSVP by 4/8/08 to miranda@byu.edu.

EMPA Information The EMPA program will be accepting applications through May 1. The degree will enhance a career in government and nonprofit sectors. A competitive applicant should have at least four years of full-time work experience. All classes are held in the BYU Salt Lake Center. What's New at the BYU Salt Lake Center

Discover: Computer Access

The computer labs at the BYU Salt Lake Center have open access each day. This includes both an open computer lab in the library and one in the computer instruction classroom. Each station hosts up-to-date applications, connections to the Internet and BYU's Route Y Intranet.

Discover: Convenient Location

Beginning August 20, 2007 the BYU Salt Lake Center will be located at 3 Triad Center in downtown Salt Lake City. This new beautifully refurbished facility will feature larger, state-of-the-art classrooms, group study rooms, library with an open computer lab, testing center, and much more
