BEST OF ESPECIALLY FOR YOUTH is a BYU Continuing Education program designed to help youth strengthen their testimonies, read and study the scriptures, increase their self-respect, gain a desire to serve, seek the saving ordinances of the gospel, and deal with today’s challenges. All youth—both LDS church members and friends of other faiths ages 12 to 18—are invited to attend. LDS standards must be observed while attending.

Registration Information

  • Preregistration ends Friday, January 20, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. mountain time.
  • Ward or stake leaders are encouraged to coordinate group registrations for their youth. However, individual registrations can be made also.
  • Tickets will be mailed within one week of the order date through January 20, 2012.
  • After January 20, tickets must be purchased at the door on a space–available basis.

  2. Telephone: Call 801–422–8925 or toll free 1–877–221–6716 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. mountain time on weekdays and ask the operator for the program location of your choice:

    Payment must be made at the time of the call by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

  3. Mail: If you must pay by check, please mail in your registration.  Send a check payable to BYU–CE along with your name, address, daytime phone number, and number of youth tickets requested, and the program location of your choice (see list above) to St. George Best of EFY, P.O. Box 21505, 299 Harman Continuing Education Building, Provo, UT 84602–1505.

NOTE: In previous years the demand for this program has exceeded the capacity, so please register early to ensure admission. Seating may not be available for those who wish to register at the door. Please, no saving of seats!

Laugh It Up
We will study humor and laughter and when it might not be appropriate. We will also discuss when and why laughter might truly be the best medicine.

Dress—Church dress standards for the chapel apply. Young men should wear slacks, dress shirts, and ties. Young women should wear dresses or tops and skirts of modest length.

Special Notes:

  • Adult youth leaders and advisors are encouraged to attend (tickets not required).
  • Please bring your scriptures.
  • Please do not bring tape or video recorders to the program. BYU policy does not allow recording of lectures. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Refunds

Refund requests must be made in writing, with tickets attached, and received by 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012. A $10 processing fee applies to every group refund request. Refund requests received after January 20, 2012, will not be honored. To request a refund, please send tickets and explanation to:
