BYU Policy: Sunday dress standards. No video or audio recording allowed. Please bring your scriptures, note cards, and a pen.

BEST OF ESPECIALLY FOR YOUTH is a BYU Continuing Education program designed to help youth strengthen their testimonies, read and study the scriptures, increase their self-respect, gain a desire to serve, seek the saving ordinances of the gospel, and deal with today’s challenges. All youth, LDS church member and nonmember, ages 12 to 18 are invited to attend. LDS standards must be observed while attending.

Registration Information

  • Preregistration ends Friday, February 24, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. (mountain time).
  • Tickets will be mailed within one week of the order date through February 24, 2012.
  • After February 24, tickets must be purchased at the door on a space-available basis..
  • Ward or stake leaders are encouraged to coordinate group registrations for their youth. However, individual registrations can also be made.
  • Tickets are not required for adult leaders.

  2. Telephone: Call 801-422-8925 or 877-221-6716 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (mountain time) and ask the operator for the Ogden Best of EFY. Payment must be made at the time of the call by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

  3. Mail: If you must pay by check, please mail in your registration. Send a check payable to BYU–CE along with your name, address, daytime phone number, and number of tickets requested to Ogden Best of EFY, P.O. Box 21505, 299 Harman Continuing Education Building, Provo, UT 84602-1505.

NOTE: We recommend early registration due to limited seating capacity and high demand for this program.

9:10–10:00 a.m. Brad Wilcox
Faculty, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah		 The Gospel: Good News, Good News, Read All about It—Faith in Christ is a headline we share with many other churches, but we have a whole paper full of additional good news to share with the world.
10:10–11:00 a.m. Patricia Epperson Jorgenson
BYU Continuing Education faculty, American Fork, Utah		 Find Strength in the Scriptures in Turbulent Times—Learn how to overcome your trials by turning to the scriptures.
11:10 a.m.–noon Scott Robley
Seminary Principal, Lindon, Utah		 I Dare You—It’s natural to want to be accepted by peers and to be part of a group. This class will discuss ways to overcome peer pressure and how we don't need to compromise our standards in order to be accepted.

Refunds

Refund requests must be made in writing with tickets attached and received by 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012.  A $10 processing fee applies to every group refund request.  Refund requests received after February 24, 2012, will not be honored.
