BEST OF ESPECIALLY FOR YOUTH is a BYU Continuing Education program designed to help youth strengthen their testimonies, read and study the scriptures, increase their self–respect, gain a desire to serve, seek the saving ordinances of the gospel, and deal with today’s challenges. All youth, LDS church members and nonmembers, ages 12 to 13, are invited to attend. LDS standards must be observed while attending.

Registration Information

  • Registration ends Friday, October 14, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. mountain time.
  • Tickets will be mailed within one week of the order date through October 14, 2011.
  • tickets must be purchased at the door on a space-available basis.

  2. Telephone: Call 801–422–8925 or 877–221–6716 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (mountain time) and ask the operator for Best of Especially for Youth 2011 Happy Valley Ward Best of EFY. Payment must be made at the time of the call by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

  3. Mail: If you must pay by check, please mail in your registration. Send a check, payable to BYU—CE, along with your name, address, daytime phone number, and number of tickets requested to: Best of Especially for Youth 2011 Happy Valley Ward Best of EFY, P.O. 1:30–2:20 p.m. Curtis Jacobs
Institute Instructor, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah		 How to be Chaste While Being Chased
This class will help youth understand the “why” of chastity and how to keep themselves chaste.
2:30–3:20 p.m. Colleen Terry
Institute Instructor, Orem, Utah 		Don’t Go to Battle without Your Sword
The war in heaven is continuing here on earth. The intensity of the battle is increasing. In what condition is your armor?
3:30–4:20 p.m. Dinner
4:30–5:20 p.m. Hank Smith
Faculty, Religious Education, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah 		I Love My Friends
True friends help and support each other to be the very best
5:30–6:00 p.m. Ice Cream—youth ages 12–13

Refunds

Refunds: Refund requests must be received by October 14, 2011. A $10 processing fee applies to every group refund request. Refund requests received after October 14, 2011, will not be honored.
