Auditorium

The auditorium provides an inspiring view of the Holy City—both old and new. The auditorium is used for concerts and other gatherings. The auditorium's pipe organ is one of the finest in the Near East. Built by the Marcussen Company in Denmark, it was installed in 1987. The organ's exquisite, arched facade matches perfectly into the larger stone arches of the auditorium. The organ has over 3,000 pipes, most of which are located behind the visible pipes. The organ was donated anonymously at a cost of nearly $600,000.
