LATIN 41 — First-Year Latin 1
Description
This is the first course in a four-part Latin series (LATIN 41, LATIN 43, LATIN 51, and LATIN 53). LATIN 41 teaches basic grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and reading skills as well as Latin influences on the English language. It also includes translations which focus on mythology, culture, and history of Rome. 8 lessons, 8 assignment submissions (8 Speedback assignments); proctored final exam.

- Accusative Case and the Present Tense
- Genitive and Dative Cases and Future Tense
- Ablative Case, -R Ending Nouns, and Imperative Verbs
- Second Conjugation, Perfect Tense, and Neuter Nouns
- Second Declension -R Adjectives and Conjugation of Sum
- Asking Questions and the Third Conjugation
- Third -IO and Fourth Conjugation Verbs and Adverbs
