About BYU's Division of Continuing Education
- We have programs available to satisfy almost any kind of learning
need, both educational and religious.
- Our students include professionals, homemakers, retired persons,
youth, and children.
- You can take programs, courses, and classes in hundreds of subjects.
Some programs offer credit; others are for personal enrichment.
You can even obtain a bachelor's degree largely through continuing
education.
- You can learn through conferences, workshops, correspondence, evening classes,
and off–campus centers.
- Programs are held at various times throughout the year in an
effort to meet your needs.
- You need not be a student of Brigham Young University to participate
in most of these continuing education programs. We do require
those enrolled and who attend on campus to maintain the university’s
standards. These standards are also required of those meeting
on the university’s campus, at off–campus centers, and in other classroom settings. The standards
include BYU dress and grooming; high moral and ethical conduct;
and abstinence from alcoholic drinks, tobacco, coffee, tea, and
illegal drugs.
