Join the BYU Young Ambassadors and director Randy Boothe for five days of musical dance theatre training at BYU. Rehearse with members of BYU’s Young Ambassadors and receive instruction from BYU’s premier performance directors—Young Ambassadors director Randy Boothe and Living Legends director Janielle Christensen.
Receive small-group instruction from experienced entertainers as you strengthen your performance abilities and develop proper technique in dance, voice, and stage presence, all while gaining more confidence as a performer.
You will have the opportunity to interact with other performers from around the country while you participate in group classes, auditions, rehearsals, and performance-enhancement workshops during your week. Other activities include an outdoor barbecue, a fireside given by BYU Young Ambassadors, a musical theatre performance, the Entertainers’ Showcase, and Friday’s Final Concert.
The Young Ambassadors’ Singing Entertainer Workshop begins at 11:00 a.m. Monday with orientation and lunch, followed by auditions and rehearsals. Each week fills quickly, so you are encouraged to register early. A week of intense, high-energy musical dance training with the BYU Young Ambassadors is an experience you don’t want to miss!
