Share your talents and testimony through song by participating in the 2012 BYU Women’s Conference Instant Choir—join friends, relatives, and those attending the conference with you!
All conference participants who wish to join the choir are welcome. The choir is made up of between 600–800 women like you who come from many different states and who enjoy singing together.
This year’s conductor will be Helen Berrett from Highland, Utah. She has a music degree in voice from BYU; plays and teaches violin, viola, and voice; plays for the Timpanogos Symphony, and is active in community musical productions. She has led choirs for wards and stakes and temple dedications, and has taught choir at a community college.
The Instant Choir will be singing two songs. We hope that you will download the music, practice these two songs at home, and come prepared for our one practice at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 26.
After you enter the Marriott Center, go to Portal C and sit in Section 3. Following the rehearsal, choir members will keep their same seats as they prepare to sing in the opening session. If you come with non-choir participating friends, encourage them to sit in regular seats near you but not occupy seats in the choir section. Don’t forget to bring your sheet music with you!
