35. Small and Simple Things: Grandparenting through the Mail

⇐ Previous Next ⇒

Exhibitor(s): Susan Weeks, Kathy Barrick

Description: Distance is a problem for many grandparents nowadays. We don’t get to bond in person, by baby-sitting or by sharing memorable times, very often. So, we try to make up for it with noteworthy gifts, or traveling out to see them frequently. But families grow, and so do the expenses for keeping up with them. Writing very short letters can create, or keep up, a living relationship with your grandchildren. These letters can be fun and easy, will thrill your grandchildren, and will provide a lasting legacy of love. A written letter Small and Simple, but Wonderful!

“And he shall plant in the hearts of the children the promises made to the fathers, and the hearts of the children shall turn to their fathers.” Doctrine and Covenants 2:2
