Description:"The Family: A Proclamation to the World" says that wholesome family recreation is important in building successful families by creating traditions that bring the family to God. Parents can strengthen the bond between family members, fortify commitment to religion, and teach important principles they want their children to understand and live by.
A successful family is one rich in family traditions. These may be everyday routines, set family traditions or holiday and special occasion traditions. Traditions bring a sense of belonging, safety and love to family members. The time spent together in wholesome activities or just everyday routines bring family members closer together. It strengthen the bond and creates a closeness that is necessary to nature and teach. And gives us memories to cherish throughout our lives.
