(1) Fantastic Family Nights - A Foundation for a Forever Family

Description:The First Presidency issued the following statement, "Regular participation in Family Home Evening will develop increased personal worth, family unity, love for our fellow men, and trust in our Father in Heaven. It is our promise that great blessings will come to all who conscientiously plan and hold weekly Family Home Evenings." (Family Home Evening: Happiness through Jesus Christ, p. 3, 1976) Here are some ideas for regular Family Home Evenings using the Family Home Evening manual and other church publications. There are also ideas for helping your family become "...doers of the word and not hearers only." (James 1:22) Suggestions for service nights, 2 1/2 minute talk nights and tricks and talents nights, and sports nights are included.
