(39) Family Mealtimes—Way More Than Food!

Description: This station supports the theme “Building a Network of Support.”  The very act of gathering together for a meal can build support for all family members, as we discuss how the day went and what’s going on in our busy lives.  However, family mealtime is going by the wayside.  For this time to be successful and to be able to build an atmosphere that lends itself to the sharing of feelings takes a little planning.  Building a network of supports through family mealtime works with whatever type of family you currently have, small children, teenage children, single parent, empty nesters or extended family.
