(35) Anchor Your Life to Christ

Description: “The great test of life is to see whether we will hearken to and obey God’s commands in the midst of the storms of life” (Elder Henry B. Eyring).  How do we continually build and refresh reservoirs of faith, no matter our age?  We challenge you to write your own parable every year as a record for your family.  This exhibit includes a parable about anchoring the soul based on an experience of mooring a boat on a little sandbar.  Even though it felt firm, it gradually drifted a fair distance from the sandbar where the family had remained to play.
