(30) What’s There to Do on Sunday, Mom?!
Exhibitor(s): Susan Cutler
Description: Do you and your children struggle coming up with fun and appropriate” Sabbath-day
activities? Our children need to learn to keep the Sabbath Day holy and we need to give them options to help them make correct decisions. Whether it is a game, a mini-family devotional, or baking cookies, these activities can be used to learn facts and concepts that form the foundation of gospel understanding and testimony. The suggested activities combine family fun and togetherness with learning. These ideas can be used for Sunday activities, but also incorporated into everyday family life to create a gospel – learning environment in your home. Keeping the Sabbath day holy is one way we can “Bring up your children in light and truth.” D&C 93:40.
