Title: I Had a Mother Who Read to Me
Exhibitor(s): Marie Payne
Description: A mother's involvement can foster a love of reading. Ideas are included on how mothers can get involved with their children’s reading. This exhibit is based on the poem by Strickland W. Gillilan:
You may have riches and wealth untold, With baskets of jewels and caskets of gold. But richer than I you will never be, For I had a mother who read to me.
