Title: Home: A Place of Refuge
Exhibitor(s): Janice Gardner
Description: A home is a place where each individual should find happiness, tranquility, pleasure, and safety from the storms of life. President Thomas S. Monson refers to these storms as "the rains of adversity, the floods of opposition, and the winds of doubt." As the nurturer in our home, it is our opportunity to create a place of refuge—a center of love. President Monson shares seven areas of focus for achieving a home of refuge: God, Work, Recreation, Family, Study, Service, and Self (Ensign Oct, 1999, p2).
