Title: Connecting to the Past

Exhibitor(s): Kristi Fenwick

Description: Storytelling is an important and fun way to strengthen family bonds. Family stories can portray who we are and help to pass on family heritage. We can connect to the past by doing family history and genealogy. We may preserve the present by keeping journals and life histories and help our elderly family members to do so as well. With something as simple as a pen and paper, we can keep our past and present alive for future generations by teaching them these skills and telling them our stories.
