Title: To Clothe a Temple

Exhibitor(s): Lesa Hyer

Description: Modesty helps us to make our bodies temples in which the Lord's spirit may dwell. As parents, we can use the child’s earliest years to instill principles of modesty and to form correct habits. We are asked to wear our best clothing to the temple and to Church meetings in order to lend reverence, restraint, and dignity to the atmosphere where sacred ordinances are performed. Parents should dress appropriately themselves regardless of what activity they are participating in, and therefore, set a good example to their children.
