Driving Instructions to BYU
I-15 Southbound

  • About 45 miles from Salt Lake City, take the BYU-Orem University Parkway exit (269)
  • Turn east (left) at the off-ramp traffic signal.
  • On University Parkway, drive east and down the hill into Provo. You will pass landmarks such as Utah Valley University, R. C. Willey, University Mall, etc. Park near the BYU LaVell Edwards Football Stadium (Chevron station will be on your right).

I-15 Northbound

  • Take the BYU/University Avenue exit (263).
  • Drive north along University Avenue until you reach 1650 North (University Parkway).
  • Turn right and park near the BYU LaVell Edwards Football Stadium (Chevron station will be on your right).

UTA Bus Route from Salt Lake International Airport to BYU

  • From the airport, take the 50 inbound (Downtown Salt Lake).
  • Get off at South Temple/West Temple and go to Trax platform (in middle of road).
  • Take Sandy train to Sandy Civics Center.
  • Get off train, go to bus stop, and look for marker 4.
  • Take 811 southbound to Provo to Timpanogos Transit Center at University Mall.
  • Take the 830 southbound to BYU, Wilkinson, Student Center.

Recreational Vehicle Parking
Self-contained recreational vehicles can park in lot #37, northwest of the Smith Fieldhouse. No facilities are available. There are no restrooms, showers, hook-ups, or dump sites. Pets are also not allowed on campus.
