General Information
The BYU Women’s Conference is a two-day conference for those 16 and older. Both days of the conference begin and end with a general session in the Marriott Center, where all participants meet together. The opening general session is held from 9:00–10:15 a.m., and the closing general session is held from 3:45–5:00 p.m. both days.
Between the general sessions we hold three one-hour concurrent sessions, with up to 15 sessions to choose from each hour. Topics, centered around our annual theme, include home, family, marriage, service, gospel (scripture/doctrine), and other topics such as missionary work and education—all discussed from a gospel perspective and directed toward women.
The 2008 BYU Women’s Conference theme is found in Moroni 10:30–32, Awake, Arise and Come unto Him.
Service and cultural activities are offered during our “Make the Pathway Bright” celebration, held on Thursday evening from 5:00–9:00.
President Thomas S. Monson will be the concluding speaker at the Friday general session.
Come Meet our Authors and Artists at the book signing in the BYU Bookstore.
