Dear Sisters:

We are thrilled to welcome you to BYU Women’s Conference 2006. This year’s theme is taken from an October 2002 conference talk by President Gordon B. Hinckley: “Rise to the Divinity Within You.”

One of the great blessings of the Restoration is knowing that we each have a spark of divinity within us; that we have not only divine potential but the capacity to reach that potential. We hope that your experience at Women’s Conference in 2006 will be one that brings you nearer to your Heavenly Father and Savior as we discuss the many ways we can “Rise to the Divinity” within. There is such strength in knowing who we are and in seeking to cultivate our own divine qualities. As we do that we will better reflect Christ’s light in our lives. We hope you will find strength, purpose, reassurance, peace, and hope through your participation in Women’s Conference this year.

We also hope you will be able to participate in our fantastic service event, “To Cheer and To Bless” on Thursday evening. It will be a night of fun, information, food, and service. More details will be available soon on the BYU Women’s Conference Web site.
