Who May Attend

The BYU Midwinter Symposium on Books for Young Readers is open to men and women ages 13 and older. Logistical and safety constraints will not allow us to accommodate nursing infants or young children in any symposium sessions.

Location and Parking

The symposium will be held in the Provo City Library at Academy Square (550 North University Avenue) in Provo, Utah. Parking is available free of charge at the library. The underground parking entrance is on the east side of the library.

BYU Bookstore Annex

A BYU Bookstore annex set up on the second floor of the Provo City Library during the symposium will feature books written or illustrated by Caralyn and Mark Buehner, Donna Jo Napoli, and Gary D. Schmidt. These will be available for purchase by symposium participants at a 20 percent discount.
