Tabernacle Choir Rehearsal

8:00–9:30 p.m. Vehicles depart at 6:00 p.m., location TBA
On Thursday evening, Boot Camp participants have the opportunity to travel by van or bus to Salt Lake City to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as it rehearses for its weekly Music and the Spoken Word program, broadcast weekly on more than 2,000 radio, TV, and cable stations.

The Tabernacle Choir is made up of 360 men and women from many different backgrounds and professions brought together by their love for singing and their faith. The choir rehearses every Thursday from 7:30–9:30 p.m. in the Conference Center. Rehearsals are open to the public.

Salt Lake City is about an hour’s drive from BYU. There may also be a little free time for brief sightseeing near Temple Square in Salt Lake City. The cost of this field trip is an additional $10 and is not included in the Boot Camp fees.
