Summer Scholars will give you a BYU experience.

Summer Scholars will give you a one week sneak peak at what it is like to be a college student at BYU. You will live on campus, participate in fascinating class discussions, attend inspiring devotionals and fun activities, and get to know a fantastic group of fellow students and college–aged counselors.

When you register for Summer Scholars, you will enroll in a one week class of your choice. Each day during the camp you will attend this class as well as optional afternoon workshops that are geared to help prepare you for college and aid you in your application process. These workshops may include a writing workshop, stress management, survival study techniques and many more topics. You will have the opportunity to meet with admissions officers and advisors and ask them any questions you may have as you are preparing to apply to universities.

The unique blend of spiritual and intellectual knowledge gained at BYU is perhaps what most sets this university apart from the rest of the academic world. You will experience this first hand as you study the scriptures with your counselors, attend devotionals and resides, and have the opportunity to discuss your ideas with BYU’s excellent faculty.

College is also about having fun! In addition to participating in superior classes, you will have the chance at Summer Scholars to bond with your peers and counselors through events such as field trips, evening activities with your counselors, a dance, and a final banquet and party.
