Barrett A. Slade, PhD, MAI, has been in the real estate profession for over 25 years. He has been employed as a chief appraiser with a major financial institution and has owned and managed his own real estate consulting business. Barrett holds a doctorate in real estate from the University of Georgia and has previously taught real estate professionals in numerous cities, including Phoenix, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Honolulu, Salt Lake City, Washington, D.C., Sacramento, San Antonio, and New York City. He currently teaches real estate investment analysis in the Marriott School at Brigham Young University. His business and teaching experience provides a unique combination that allows him to address real estate investment analysis from a practical perspective.
