Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are able to analyze operational processes, apply quality improvement tools, and lead company projects to maximize return on company resources. Furthermore, using the discipline of the Theory of Constraints (TOC), Black Belts are equipped to recognize core improvement areas and lead projects that fit within the mission and goals of the firm.
To continually offer premium professional development programs, we are currently reworking our Six Sigma Program. Our new Lean Six Sigma Program, which includes course work in the Theory of Constraints, will open November 2008. The curriculum is built on fundamental Six Sigma principles, which have been traditionally applied to manufacturing, and is expanded to include Six Sigma for Service Organizations.
Our instructors include experienced professionals and distinguished Marriott School of Management faculty who are leading experts in the quality management and service operations fields. Upon program completion, participants will have gained a sound understanding of the Lean Six Sigma framework and the ability to collect and analyze valuable statistical data, giving them a toolbox which will allow them to lead successful improvement projects within their organizations.
