This symposium provides a forum for LDS scientists conducting research in the life sciences. The purposes of the symposium are: 1) to establish connections among LDS life scientists from across the U.S. in a scientifically stimulating environment, 2) to facilitate interdisciplinary and inter–institutional collaborations, 3) to enable mentoring relationships between LDS students with established LDS scientists, and 4) to enjoy the beauty of the Wasatch mountains and the Canyons resort.
The program is expected to include 25 invited speakers with approximately 80–100 total attendees that range from undergraduate students to faculty members. The format of the meeting will include scientific talks, a science–focused poster session, and a forum to discuss the challenge of successfully managing a faith-based religious life while pursuing a scientific career.

Everyone is welcome; however the LDS molecular life science community will be most interested, including principle investigators, post–docs, graduate students and undergraduates. There is space for over 100 attendees.
