Registration

Intermuse

There are three convenient ways to register for InterMuse. Register early to save money! The registration deadline is June 4, 2008. Walk-ons can register on the first day of the program, June 9, between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. on the third floor of the J. Reuben Clark Law School.

  2. Call (801) 422-8925 to register by phone with your VISA, Discover, or MasterCard.
  3. Register in person in the lobby of the Harman Continuing Education Building at BYU. We will be closed on May 26 (Memorial Day).

Fees

Kodály Certification (Levels I, II, III)$750 by May 16 (early registration) or $800 after May 16 (late registration)
For college graduates with music degrees or classroom teachers with music minors or sufficiently strong musical skills, school music teachers, conductors, and studio music teachers. Available for noncredit or 3 graduate letter-graded credits in Music 575R. Endorsed by the Organization of American Kodály Educators.

Postcertification Refresher Course$200
For participants who have already passed three levels and have graduated but wish to return and refresh their skills. Final banquet not included.

Intermuse

Optional Add-ons:

Campus housing: $250 (double occupancy)
CD of final concert: $15 (mailed to you after the program)
Extra banquet ticket: $24 per guest

Note: Costs for textbooks for the InterMuse course are not included in the registration fees and will be approximately $75 per person. Because they are special-order texts, they will not be available for purchase at the BYU Bookstore until the first day of class.


University Standards

InterMuse participants are required to maintain the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while attending the program, including abstinence from tobacco, coffee, tea, alcohol, and harmful drugs while on the campus. The BYU dress and grooming standards emphasize clothing that is modest in fabric, fit, style, and length.

Cancellations and Refunds

Until May 27, you can go online and withdraw yourself from the program or housing without any processing fee. After May 27, refund requests must be submitted in writing and a processing fee of $50 will be charged for each cancellation. Campus housing fees will not be refundable. Brigham Young University cannot be held responsible for any cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or other institutions.
