Adventure awaits in breathtaking Provo, Utah at the 37th annual International Double Reed Society Conference, July 22-26, 2008. Located just a short drive south of Salt Lake City in the shadow of majestic 11,750-foot Mount Timpanogos, the Provo/Orem area is home to 205,000 and is consistently ranked by Money Magazine as one of the top 20 places to live in the United States and among the top 5 cities for families in Kiplingers’ Personal Finance Magazine. Home to two universities, Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, the Utah Valley area is a perfect mix of academic, cultural, athletic, and outdoor activities. Airport Shuttle Service

Located about 50 miles south of Salt Lake City off Interstate 15, Provo is easily accessible by car. Shuttle services are available to and from the Salt Lake City International Airport through Express Shuttle (www.expressshuttle.com; (800) 397-0773) or Anytime Aiport Shuttle (www.anytimeairportshuttle.com; (800) 909-7678).

Day Tours

A number of day tours will be available during the conference. Information will follow.

Parking and Shuttles
Free parking is available at the residence halls for on-campus housing participants. Free conference parking will be available at the Conference Center, where the reading sessions will be held.

There will be shuttle service available between official conference hotels and the BYU campus from 7:30 a.m. to the end of the evening events each day. Shuttle service will be available at all times between the Conference Center and the main campus, where the Harris Fine Arts Center and the Wilkinson Student Center are adjacently located.

All conference venues and on-campus housing are within a ten-minute walking distance.
