Post–conference Event Update
While the opportunity still exists to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir live on Sunday morning, July 27, we regret to announce that due to scheduling conflicts this broadcast (July 27) of “Music and the Spoken Word” will no longer feature any double reed artists. However, arrangements have been made for Frank Morelli, principal bassoonist for NYC Opera and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra to perform on Sunday, July 20. We realize that this is several days prior to the start of the conference and many of you have already made travel plans. We apologize for this change in schedule, which was beyond our control.

Visitors to Salt Lake City may attend a live broadcast of “Music & the Spoken Word,” featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Guests should be seated in the Conference Center by 9:15 a.m., when the doors are closed. Admission is limited to those eight years of age and older. Tickets will not be necessary for the July 20, 2008 broadcast, they will, however, be necessary on July 27, 2008. Tickets are free and can be obtained at www.lds.org/events/info
