This workshop provides a forum for presenting and discussing current and emerging research work on technology that supports family history and genealogy. Results should address technology problems whose solutions have the potential to improve family-history and genealogical research work. The format of the workshop will include a keynote speaker, panel discussions and technical presentations.

Admission and Standards
Participants of any race, color, creed, and ethnic or national origin are accepted for admission to this program provided they maintain the university standards while on campus. These include modesty in dress and conduct and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs.

Substitutions and Cancellations
A $10 fee will be assessed for each refund requested. All refunds must be requested in writing and received no later than one week before the workshop begins ( March 6, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.). Please submit your request in writing by e-mail at cw136@byu.edu or mail it to BYU Conferences and Workshops, 136 Harman Continuing Education Building, Provo, UT 84602. You may at any time arrange for a substitute to come in your place without penalty. After March 6, 2008, no refund can be given. Participants will receive a full registration refund if the program is canceled for any reason. However, the university cannot be responsible for any cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or other institutions.
