Registration

We invite everyone from around the world interested in research concerning work and the family to attend the conference! General registration is for everyone wishing to attend; credit registration is only for those few attendees who want to earn 1 hour of university credit.

Credit
One credit will be offered in Marriage and Family Therapy (Special Topics 695 R) or Psychology (Values, Religion, and Mental Health 641 R).

Faculty and Staff: Benefits may cover the cost of tuition. Please call 422-4853 to complete your registration.

BYU Student Registration: Dr. Crane would like to invite all university students who would like to attend. Current BYU students may receive a complimentary registration to attend the conference presentations. The meals and breaks are available for an additional cost. Special Features
Monday the 20th
during lunch, participants will have the opportunity to meet the presenters.

Wednesday evening, the 22nd, there will be a closing banquet and a keynote presentation.

Admission and Standards
Participants of any race, color, creed, and ethnic or national origin are accepted for admission to this program provided they maintain the university standards while on campus. These include modesty in dress and conduct and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs.

We are committed to providing a learning atmosphere that reasonably accommodates persons with disabilities who are otherwise qualified. Prior to registration, applicants with disabilities are invited to discuss the program content and available facilities with the program director.

Substitutions and Cancellations
A $10 fee will be assessed for each refund requested. All refunds must be requested in writing and submitted no later than one week before the conference begins (March 13, 2006) by 5:00 p.m. You may at any time arrange for a substitute to come in your place without penalty. After March13, 2006, no refund can be given. Participants will receive a full registration refund if the program is canceled for any reason. However, the university cannot be responsible for any cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or other institutions.

  • Online: Register over the Internet and pay with your VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
  • By phone: Call (801) 422-8925 and pay with your VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
  • In person: Register in our office located at 120 Harman Continuing Education Building, Brigham Young University , Provo , Utah . At-the-door registrations are accepted on a space-available basis.
  • By mail: Mail the registration form and tuition to Families and Research Conference, 136 Harman Continuing Education Building, Brigham Young University , Provo , UT 84602 .
