Registration — Pick up conference materials at registration desk and drop off posters in room 2258. Informal networking and preview of posters.

Plenary — The Power of Social Innovation and CollaborationFacilitator: Joan Dixon
Defining the terms and purpose of the conference with inter-active discussions and presentations from groups that are facilitating collaborative efforts in Evaluation, Research, Internships and Consulting.

Conference Overview — Explanation of program options, guidelines and worksheets to help participants navigate the conference activities and find their collaborative teams.

"Marketplace of Ideas and Opportunities" (Poster and Networking Session — room 2258–2260)

Noon

Networking Lunch in the Marketplace (room 2258–2260)
Eat with a group of people that you linked up with in the marketplace.
Identify and fill out forms to participate in collaborative teams during the Saturday Sessions.

Reflective Plenary — What has inspired us? Why are doing this? How can social innovation and collaboration help to create a world without poverty? What will a world without poverty look like?

Options and locations for today’s teams — tables and break out rooms

9:30–11:30

Collaborative Teams Break-Out Sessions: The topics for break-out sessions will be determined by conference participants at the Marketplace of Ideas and Opportunities on Friday. Allocation of rooms and discussion tables will be based on the number of people who sign up for each proposed session. Facilitators, flipcharts and other supplies to document the sessions will be provided.

11:45–1:45

Final Lunch with Reports and Proposals from the Collaborative Teams (room 2258 – 2260)

2:00–3:00

NEXT STEPS PLANNING GROUP — Conference planners and people interested to participate in the organizing and implementation of proposed projects, activities and events (including next year’s conference) will sort, discuss and organize the information collected during the conference from the participating groups and teams.
