Prearrival Information
The 13th Annual Economic Self-Reliance Conference will be held March 11–12, 2011. We are excited to welcome you to BYU campus for this great event!
Conference Schedule
We have a very strong group of presenters on economic self-reliance and focused areas of microenterprise, microfranchise, and technology. Last-minute updates can be found online at the conference Web site (http://conferences.byu.edu/esr).
Location
Thursday and Friday events are held in the Conference Center: 770 East University Parkway, Provo, Utah 84602. A campus map is found at the conference Web site. Directions to the building are:
I-15 Southbound to BYU Conference Center
About 45 miles from Salt Lake City, take Exit 269 (University Parkway exit). Turn east (left) at the off-ramp traffic signal. On University Parkway drive east through Orem, and down the hill into Provo. Stay on University Parkway for about 4 miles. After driving past the LaVell Edwards Stadium and the Marriott Center, make a right turn into the parking lot west of the Harman Building and the Adjoining Conference Center.

I-15 Northbound to BYU Conference Center
Take the BYU / University Avenue exit off I-15. Drive north along University Avenue past Provo Center Street. Turn right at the 1230 north traffic signal. Turn left at the Canyon Road signal. Turn right onto University Parkway. Stay on University Parkway for about 1 mile. After driving past the LaVell Edwards Stadium and the Marriott Center, make a right turn into the parking lot west of the Harman Building and the adjoining Conference Center.

Visitor Parking
Parking is available west of the Conference Center (parking permit not required.) Do not park in handicap, (unless you have a permit) or 60-minute stalls.
Dress
Dress for the conference is business casual. Dress for the Thursday evening banquet is business attire.
Lunch and Banquet Tickets
If you preordered lunch or awards banquet meals, tickets for these events will be included in the back of your name tag. The banquet starts with a reception at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening in room 2258 of the Conference Center.
