The David O. McKay School of Education, Brigham Young University-Public School Partnership, and the Center For the Improvement of Teacher Education and Schooling are pleased to sponsor the English Language Learners Symposium. The purpose of this symposium is to develop and disseminate best practices, policies, research and theory for language learning and academic success of English learners. This year we are excited to highlight how the concept of community capitals and the development of family/community and school partnerships can enhance the academic success of English learners and their families.
